Lean in close.
Let's talk a little.
I know what it feels like.
To feel exhausted.
To feel stuck in a rut.
To feel less than whole.
To feel like you are trying to be all these things to all these people that you are forgetting what it feels like to be YOU.
To hate the fact that you live the same day over and over again and see nothing changing.
To know the weight of anxiety. To loose sleep over things that you can't control.
To think that you are not important enough, smart enough, beautiful enough or funny enough for someone to accept you.
But I also know what it is like to be MORE than enough.
To not care what someone else thinks of who I am or what I am doing.
To have the confidence to say THIS IS ME. Take it or leave it. And if you leave it, that's OK.
To let the chains of anxiety melt away and to just be still and live in the moment.
Now, I am not perfect. The "old me" creeps in sometimes.
But here's what I know...
Life is short. If we are lucky we will get 100 trips around the sun.
Do you want to spend them just moving through... or do you want to spend them LIVING?
I have been where you've been. And I get it. Man, do I get it.
But nothing changes if nothing changes.
Decide today that your life should be more than just being sick and tired of being sick and tired. That it is too precious to let what others think consume you. That your happiness is WORTH IT.
Do the thing you are scared of. Take a chance. Try something out of the ordinary. Get OUT of your "funk" and out of your own way. I can' tell you WHAT that will look like.
That's up to you.
But I am here to just remind you that you CAN.
And I hope you will.
